GO KARTING - PHUKET THAILAND
There are quite a few go-karting tracks on Phuket. A couple of very good ones are on the road between Patong and Tesco on the main road. Up and over the hill from Patong to Tesco you will see the go-kart track on the right-hand side going away from Patong towards Tesco (on the bypass road).

There is also a buggy track and both of these are run by the same people. We found the go-karts at Patong Go-Karts to be excellent quality and excellent value.

However they have a deal where you get 10 minutes on the go-karts and then 10 minutes on the buggies for a combined fee of 1,000 BHT. In my opinion the buggies are a waste of time as you can't pass or race and just go around a dirt track. There's a little river to cross where you always get wet. I don't really like leaving a place with a wet crotch! My suggestion is to only hire the go-karts and avoid the buggies. You will have a much better time and it is well run and safe.

I suggest it would be best for over 10 year olds for safety.

It's true, they are fast!!!


Don't get the "deal" just stick with the excellent go-karts.
